Join us in London for the official Liberation launch party, celebrating the release of the next generation of laser show software.
Liberation has been years in the making, shaped by real-world shows and large-scale productions. It is built for how modern laser shows are actually created today - cross-platform, hardware-agnostic, reliable in demanding environments, and focused on creativity without friction.
This launch marks a turning point. Liberation is out, proven, and ready to power the next generation of laser shows. If you care about where this industry is heading, creatively and technically, this is the moment to be part of it.

What to Expect
A full laser setup will be running all evening, powered entirely by Liberation. The night blends live performances, presentations, hands-on play, and open creative time. This is not a trade show or a sales pitch. It is a celebration of a new community of laser designers and the future of laser performance.
The evening also includes a special look back at Seb’s history with lasers, featuring large-scale laser-projected games such as Asteroids and Lunar Lander.

Free afternoon workshop in partnership with Women In Live Music (WILM)
Ahead of the Liberation launch, we are hosting a free introductory workshop in partnership with Women In Live Music (WILM).
This session is for people from underrepresented groups in the events industry, including women, trans and non-binary people, people of colour, LGBTQ+ people, and disabled people. It is intended specifically for participants from these groups.
The workshop is an introduction to lasers and Liberation, designed for those who are new to lasers or have limited experience. It will cover creative possibilities, core principles, and how tools like Liberation fit into live music and show production, in a safe and supportive environment.
The session will be led by Abby Shum, an experienced laser operator and designer who has toured internationally and worked on large-scale installations including Arcadia’s Dragonfly at Glastonbury.
This workshop is separate from the evening launch event and will run from 2pm to 4pm.
For underrepresented groups only - free to attend
Diversity and Inclusion
We are committed to creating a welcoming, supportive, and respectful space at Liberation events.
We actively encourage attendance from women, non-binary, trans, queer, BIPOC, and other underrepresented communities within the events and show technology industries. Allies are warmly welcome.
All attendees are expected to follow our Code of Conduct
Accessibility
Limehouse Town Hall is a community-run venue and unfortunately does not have step-free access. We recognise that this means some people will not be able to attend in person, and we are genuinely sorry about this limitation.
If you have access requirements or would like to discuss whether the venue will work for you, please contact us at info@liberationlaser.com. We will also be sharing the launch presentation online for those who are unable to attend, and accessibility will be a priority for future Liberation events.
