Liberation Website Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-01-19

In short…

These terms cover how you use the Liberation website - things like creating an account, buying a licence, downloading the software, and using community features.

They explain what you can expect from us, what we expect from users, and how things like purchases and refunds work.

The software itself has its own licence, which is separate from these website terms.

This summary is just a plain-English overview. The full text below is the legally binding version.

Liberation Website Terms of Use

1. About These Terms

These terms (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Liberation website and related online services operated by Seb.ly Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “Seb.ly”).

By using the website, creating an account, or purchasing a licence through the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Use of the Liberation software itself is governed separately by the Liberation Software Licence Agreement, which applies in addition to these Terms.

2. Accounts

Some parts of the website require you to create an account.

You are responsible for:

You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

We may suspend or close accounts that are used in breach of these Terms or in a way that is unlawful, abusive, or disruptive.

3. Purchases and Licences

Licences for Liberation may be purchased through the website.

All licences are subject to the Liberation Software Licence Agreement, which governs how the software may be used.

Some licences are issued for a fixed term and renew automatically at the end of that term unless cancelled before renewal. Renewal details, including pricing and renewal dates, are shown at the time of purchase and in your account.

You can manage or cancel licence renewals through your account or via the payment provider used to process your purchase.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. The provider in use will be shown at checkout. We do not store your payment card details.

Prices, taxes, currencies, and available licence options may change from time to time. Changes will not affect licences you have already purchased.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds and cancellations are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy.

To request a refund or cancellation, please contact billing@liberationlaser.com with your account email and order ID (if available).

Refunds are subject to any applicable statutory rights and the terms of the payment provider.

5. Downloads and Website Availability

We aim to keep the website and downloads available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

The website and related services are provided on an “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website at any time.

6. User Content and Community Areas

The Liberation website may include community features such as comments or other interactive areas.

The Liberation public forum is hosted separately and governed by its own terms of service and community guidelines, which apply to your use of the forum.

These Website Terms do not replace or override the forum’s terms.

7. Acceptable Use

Automated scraping or other misuse of the website without permission is not allowed.

8. Website Intellectual Property

All content on the website, including text, graphics, logos, and design, is owned by Seb.ly or its licensors unless stated otherwise.

You may view and use website content for your own personal or business purposes, but you must not copy or reuse it without permission.
