This policy explains how refunds work for Liberation licences.


In Short

Liberation licences unlock digital features immediately. Because of this, refunds are limited once licensed features have been enabled. That said, if something has gone wrong or you are unsure whether Liberation is right for you, please get in touch – we aim to be fair and reasonable.

Digital Licences

Liberation can be downloaded and used without charge. Features such as laser and DMX output require a paid licence. Licence renewals are treated as new licence terms and are subject to this refund policy.

Because a licence enables digital features immediately, refunds are not generally available once licensed features have been enabled.


When We Will Consider Refunds

Cooling-Off Rights

Where required by law, you may have statutory cancellation or refund rights.

By purchasing a Liberation licence, you acknowledge that licensed features are enabled immediately. Where applicable, this may limit or waive certain statutory cooling-off rights once the licence has been used.

This does not affect any rights you may have under consumer protection law.


How Refunds Are Processed

Payments for Liberation licences are handled by Paddle, our payment provider and merchant of record.

Any approved refunds are issued via Paddle, using the original payment method, and are subject to Paddle’s refund policies and procedures.
