Libera Link
The universal translator for lasers.
Your choice of laser hardware shouldn’t limit the software you can use. Libera Link is a free, open-source bridge that connects hardware and software that otherwise wouldn’t work together. So a USB Helios can become a network DAC, an Ether Dream can speak IDN, and Sollinger AVB lasers can be used by software that doesn’t natively support AVB.
Libera Link has an open, documented plugin system, so anyone can add support for other hardware and protocols - including controllers that aren’t normally available to third-party software. Got an obsolete DAC or unusual piece of laser hardware you’d like to bring back to life? Write a plugin yourself, or get your favourite AI coding agent to help.
The goal is simple: Libera Link gives you the freedom to use the hardware you own with the software you choose.
